Armin Only 2010 - Waar ´Imagine´ophoudt begint ‘Mirage' Armin Only 2008 - ‘Imagine' Het is meer dan twee jaar geleden dat Armin Only voor het eerst neerstreek in de Utrechtse Jaarbeurs. In de uitverkochte Prins van Oranjehal werd wederom duidelijk dat Armin als geen ander een negen uur durende show kan dragen. Bijgestaan door gastoptredens van onder meer de zangeressen van Krezip en Within Temptation en niet te vergeten zijn broer Eller op de gitaar, bezorgde Armin bijna twintigduizend bezoekers een onvergetelijk feest. Centraal hierin stond zijn derde artiestenalbum, ‘Imagine', waaromheen een spetterende show was bedacht. Wie er bij was denkt nog met veel plezier terug aan de vele hoogtepunten. Van het massaal meezingen met zanger Chris Jones die live on stage ‘Going Wrong' liet horen, tot het indrukwekkende uitzicht van duizenden mobiele telefoontjes die in de lucht werden gehouden. In de maanden die volgden ging ‘Imagine' verder de wereld over en trok volle stadions in steden als Los Angeles, Melbourne, Sidney en Boekarest. Album - ‘Mirage' Na het laatste ‘Imagine' optreden volgde een jaar zonder Armin Only edities om bij te komen van het grote succes. Er was echter één persoon die allerminst stil zat. Armin gebruikte namelijk elke seconde die zijn drukke DJ-schema toeliet om in de studio te werken aan de opvolger van ‘Imagine'. Inmiddels is de laatste track af en heeft het album dat op 10 september bij Armada Music wordt uitgebracht de magische naam ‘Mirage' gekregen. Met ‘Mirage' levert Armin een zeer divers artiestenalbum af, met spannende samenwerkingen en flink wat verrassingen. De verwachtingen zijn hoog voor de eerste single,'Full Focus', die op 24 juni uit komt en bij ‘Evers Staat Op' op Radio 538 zijn Nederlandse première beleeft. Tevens is Radio 538 de officiële mediapartner van de Nederlandse editie van Armin Only 2010. Full Focus is een mooi voorproefje op dat wat komen gaat want ‘Mirage' wordt op 13 november op spectaculaire wijze in zijn geheel gepresenteerd.

Armin Only - ‘Mirage' Armin, drievoudig winnaar van de prestigieuze DJ MAG Top 100, is een echte perfectionist. Alhoewel hij de top allang heeft bereikt, legt hij de lat voor zichzelf en zijn team toch iedere keer weer iets hoger. Zo ook met Armin Only ‘Mirage'. Wat er precies gaat gebeuren blijft voor de buitenwereld nog even geheim, maar vast staat dat de bezoekers worden getrakteerd op een overvloed aan audiovisueel spektakel, showelementen en verrassende gastoptredens. Armin: "Voor mij staat ‘Mirage' voor het gevoel van euforie dat ik krijg als ik al die mensen voor mijn ogen zie genieten tijdens mijn set. Mijn passie voor muziek die ik op zo'n moment deel met iedereen om me heen. Als die bijzondere connectie er is hangt er haast een soort deken van positieve energie in de zaal. Ik sta dan voor 200% te genieten. Dat gevoel wil ik met ‘Mirage' uitdrukken." Dat genieten gebeurt dit jaar opnieuw, en wel over de gehele wereld. Na het succes van ‘Imagine' is de vraag om internationale Armin Only shows alleen maar toegenomen. De wereldtour van Armin Only ‘Mirage' voert dan ook langs vijf continenten. Welke steden allemaal worden bezocht wordt binnenkort bekend gemaakt. Het mag duidelijk zijn. Vond je ‘Imagine' al geweldig dan mag je ‘Mirage' zeker niet missen!

Armin Only 2010 - ‘Mirage' to eclipse ‘Imagine'? New album and world tour by the world's No.1 DJ 2010 will see another milestone in the already illustrious career of Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren when he releases his new artist album, ‘Mirage', in September. As with previous releases, the album paves the way for a new Armin Only world tour. After successful outings in 2008 of Armin Only -‘Imagine' in countries like Holland, the United States, Australia, Belgium, Poland and Romania, expectations run high. Will ‘Mirage' eclipse ‘Imagine'? Armin Only 2008 - ‘Imagine' It's been a while since ‘Imagine' conquered both hearts and minds of Armin's true fans all over the world. On a large stage in the middle of the crowd Armin played a nine-hour DJ set, accompanied by guest singers and artist friends such as Chris Jones, Jennifer Rene, Cathy Burton and Rank 1. The gigs in every city the ‘Imagine' tour visited were fantastically successful. The events sold out way in advance and excited visitors experienced a joyful night on the dancefloor. Memorable moments include when thousands of lit-up cellphones were lifted in the air, and numerous shots were taken with those same mobiles when an angel appeared high above the DJ booth during ‘Burned With Desire'. After the last record, satisfied crowds went home with just one question on their minds: ‘Is it possible to top this night?' Album - ‘Mirage' After the last ‘Imagine' tour, a period of rest was necessary for all the crew involved to recover. However, taking time off was not something Armin had in mind for himself. He spent every single moment his busy DJ schedule would allow in the studio, working on the follow-up to ‘Imagine'. Being the perfectionist he is, Armin took all the time he felt was necessary to add another chapter to his impressive discography. The result is now here: ‘Mirage' will be released on Armada Music on the 10th of September. It's a very diverse album, filled with lots of surprises and thrilling collaborations. To serve as a treat for fans who find it hard to wait that long, the album is preceded by the floor-filler ‘Full Focus' - released worldwide on the 24th of June. This is a purely instrumental track that's bound to make people dance at every festival Armin plays this summer. And then, when autumn falls, another journey begins...

Armin Only - ‘Mirage' Armin, triple winner of the prestigious DJ MAG Top 100 DJs poll, is a true perfectionist. Even though he's been ranked amongst the world's top-flight DJs for quite a few years now, this is no reason for him to rest on his laurels.
